What You Haven’t Healed Is Leading You
You lead with positivity and kindness.
Until something triggers you.
A harmless comment lands wrong.
Your nervous system takes over.
Anger goes from a quiet 3 to a full 9 in seconds.
This is not rare.
It is one of the most common patterns in leadership.
I recently watched a video testimonial from a participant at a Dr. Joe Dispenza meditation retreat. He described himself as a former Jekyll and Hyde. Calm and capable on the surface, explosive underneath. His anger was damaging his health, his team, and his business.
The breakthrough came when he stopped managing his reactions and started understanding them.
At the root was an old childhood wound. A deep belief of being unwanted. Every perceived challenge activated that original pain. Anger was the defense.
Once that pattern was seen and released, everything changed.
He became grounded. Present. Loving.
Not because he tried harder, but because the trigger no longer ran him.
Hurt people hurt others.
Regulated people lead well.
This work is inner work.
You cannot wait for someone outside of you to finally make you feel safe, valued, or seen.
Part of my work as a coach is helping leaders identify and release the emotional patterns that quietly sabotage their leadership. Not through blame.
Through awareness and healing.
When you address the root cause, behavior changes naturally.
Leadership becomes calm. Clean. Trustworthy.

This work does not just change how you lead.
It changes how you live.
